Tell us about your career and how it all started?
I started my legal career working for BigLaw in New York City and then for the federal government. In both of these positions, I found it challenging to balance my professional life and work life. Years later, when my first son was born, I decided to start my own law firm so I could create a working environment where I could find that balance. I have made it my mission to create a law firm with flexibility so my employees can feel comfortable to take the time they need to have a life outside of work.
What does sisterhood mean to you?
Sisterhood means lifting up other woman and supporting them. Support of other women can come in many ways – it can mean being a listener, a connector, a challenger and a cheerleader. The women in my life who have become part of my sisterhood are integral to my success because not only do they unconditionally support me, but they also challenge me when I need it.
What's your personal mantra?
Be You. Don’t worry about what anyone else is doing, focus on what makes you amazing.

What would be your advice for women who are building careers in your industry?
