Tell us about your career and how it all started?

Single Moms Planet was founded after my divorcee. With two young sons from my five-year marriage, I felt firsthand the unique challenges that face many single mothers to find balance, identity, self-fulfillment, and financial security. Like most single moms, first and foremost among my concerns were my children and how to ensure a happy stable life for them while co-parenting with their father. I began to research the effects of single motherhood, and through my studies I learned that over one-third of all children in America are being raised by single mothers. This is when I knew I wanted to create a new voice for single mothers, a voice of power, courage and success.

What does sisterhood mean to you?

Sisterhood is life to me. Without the amazing sister that I've been blessed to have enter my life I don't know where I would be. They help keep me focused and challenge me to step into my own greatness.

What's your personal mantra?

Don't make future moves, based on past realities.

What is your superpower?

I get it done no matter what.

Tell us about women that inspired you and your female role models.

The women that inspire me the most are mothers. It astonishes me how much mothers bring to the table while being displaying endless love, support and encouragement. Anastasia Soare the CEO and founder of Anastasia of Beverly Hills inspires me. She was our Single Moms Planet 2018 Visionary of the Year honoree. She built her business from the groud-up with her daughter in tow and became a self-made single mother Billionaire.

What would be your advice for women who are building careers in your industry?

Do your research, partner with other people that know something that you don't know, stay open, make smart decisions and set goals with deadlines. These goals should challenge you and make you nervous but also make you want to get out of the bed each day.

One piece of advice for your 18 year old self?

Travel, see the world, fall in love and don't get attached to people, places or things.
